Indonesia issued a mandatory national standards for the original battery

Indonesia November 14, 2008 issued a bulletin entitled G/TBT/N/IDN/21: Indonesian Ministry of Industry on the original battery of the national mandatory standards of the draft Act - Part 1: General Principles (SNI 04-2051.1-2004); the original batteries - Part 2: Electronic and physical requirements (SNI 04-2051.2-2004)
The draft decree stipulates that all domestic distribution and sales in the domestic production and imports of primary cells should be consistent with the requirements of SNI. Manufacturers or importers therefore shall have the use of SNI logo certification requirements and in accordance with the SNI. SNI certification mark by the Indonesian National Accreditation body (KAN) accredited product certification bodies issue to adopt the following procedure: 1. Testing the quality of the original compaq laptop battery with the SNI requirements; 2.QMS SNI 19-9001-2001/ISO 9001-2000 and its amendments, or other recognized quality management system implementation audit.
KAN test can be subcontracted to KAN accreditation or mutual recognition agreements signed (MRA) of the authorized institutions recognized testing laboratory in Indonesia. Ministry of Transport and Communications Office is responsible for the implementation of this Act and the agencies to provide technical guidance for the Act,thinkpad r60 battery , including procedures for product certification marks and SNI.
The standard to be approved date: 2 months after notification. To be the effective date: June, after the approval.
